Omni-Channel is the key driver for Success of LandmarkShops.com; Cash on Delivery Accounted for 65% of all Sales in FY 2014-15

LandmarkShops.com, the online arm of the Landmark Group, is poised to double its sales in FY 2015-16 and experience a revenue growth of over 200% in FY 2014-15. Currently, LandmarkShops.com is home to leading brands like Splash, Babyshop, Emax, Lifestyle and Max and the online entity remains on track to add the remaining nine Landmark Group retail brands to its portfolio.

One of the key drivers of success for LandmarkShops.com in the UAE has been its unique Omni-Channel approach to rapidly bringing multiple businesses online. Omni-Channel is an initiative by brick and mortar retailers to better integrate physical stores and their E-commerce operations across devices for greater customer convenience.

Furthermore, LandmarkShops.com's Pay & Collect service compliments its Omni-Channel approach, by allowing customers to collect their purchased products from a physical store, in as fast as 2 hours of placing their order. Currently this service is available for Emax with two pick-up points, Oasis Centre and Mirdif City Centre in Dubai. Eventually, pick-up points will be widened, and Pay & Collect will be available across all brands at LandmarkShops.com.

and 3 million of them are present in the UAE. Out of the total shoppers on LandmarkShops.com, 63% are Shukran members.

For LandmarkShops.com, a mobile-friendly website remains imperative to its on-going success which is why a fully responsive mobile site was launched in November 2014. As a result, LandmarkShops.com now sees greater traffic from mobile devices, with over 47% via mobile as compared to 45% via desktops, with the balance 8% via tablets.

Along with credit and debit cards, customers also prefer shopping online using Cash on Delivery. In FY 2013-14, 54% of shoppers opted for Cash on Delivery. However, this number rose to 65% in FY 2014-15.
