Amman - A South Korean delegation stressed keenness to support Jordan to enable it to achieve development in the energy and water fields.
During a meeting with Planning and International Cooperation Minister Jafar Hassan, the delegation, which represented head and members of the Korean parliament's planning and finance committee as well as senior officials from The Export-Import Bank of Korea, also discusses means of forging closer cooperation between Jordan and South Korea.
Hassan voiced Jordan's appreciation of Korea's continued assistance to the Kingdom whether through soft loans provided by The Export-Import Bank of Korea or through grants and technical aid offered by the Korean International Cooperation Agency.
The minister highlighted the importance of this aid in helping the Kingdom to achieve development and reform.
He also briefed the delegation on the economic and financial situation in Jordan, challenges facing the kingdom in these areas as well as the government's efforts to implement political and economic reforms.
The delegation voiced its keenness to further boost relations with Jordan, mainly in the economic and investment fields.
