BAGHDAD (Dow Jones)--Iraq has raised the official selling prices of its Basra Light and Kirkuk crudes to customers in Europe and Asia, and left the price unchanged for buyers in the U.S., the State Oil Marketing Organization, or SOMO, said Wednesday.
Basra Light crude for U.S. customers in December was left unchanged from the previous month at $1.60 a barrel below the Argus Sour Crude Index,, SOMO said.
Basra Light Crude December prices for buyers in Europe were raised by $0.95 a barrel, to $3.15 a barrel below Dated Brent, from minus $4.10 a barrel in November, it said.
For buyers in Asia, SOMO raised the price for December by $0.15 a barrel to $1.80 a barrel above the Oman/Dubai, up from +$1.65 a barrel in November.
Iraq also raised Kirkuk crude December prices to customers in Europe by $0.60 a barrel at $1.35 a barrel below Dated Brent, from minus $1.95 a barrel in November.
Kirkuk crude prices in December for U.S. buyers were left as they were in the previous month at $0.10 a barrel over ASCI, SOMO said.
