In cooperation with Jordan Civil Defense

Jordan - February 20, 2011 - Global Investment House - Jordan (Global Jordan) announced today that it has organized a first aid training session in cooperation with the Jordan Civil Defense. The session aimed to train the participants about the basics of first aid as part of the company's care towards the welfare of its employees and their families.

Mr. Khaled Zakaria, Chief Executive Officer of Global Jordan said "Organizing such sessions is important to ensure that employees know how to react in emergencies they might face whether at work or at home" Zakaria also said that he looked forward to the continued cooperation with the Jordanian Civil Defense for the benefit of the employees and the community as a whole.

From his side Colonel Munib Al Awawdeh, Director of Jordan Civil Defense - West Amman said,  "Holding such lectures is in line with the objectives of the Jordanian Civil Defense and especially in West Amman to increase the public awareness on matters of public safety and train them to support the civil defense in case of emergency."

It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian Civil Defense encourages private companies to hold such training sessions due to their importance and benefit they provide for every citizen. The Jordan Civil Defense dedicates its efforts, highly competent manpower and advanced techniques to guarantee the safety and protection of the community as a whole.
