Egypt's High Energy Council approved allocating land plots for companies intending to establish wind energy projects in Egypt.
Both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Electricity & Energy had agreed on the regulating procedures, reported Al-Ahram.
In its daily notes, CI Capital said that although the procedures are not available, "we believe that the government of Egypt is catering to a positive investment environment that will support wind energy investment.
"We expect that this should be positively reflected on El-Sewedy Cables's wind energy line of business."
