Government of Dubai Media Office - 15 April 2015: Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), the global trade gateway for commodities, has welcomed its 10,000th member company and is celebrating with a month-long social media campaign that includes every one of the 85,000 people who live and work in the Free Zone every day.

Anyone can post a picture, a video or a story to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube or Instagram about their DMCC experience with #myDMCC to take part.

#myDMCC is all about community, and to show their commitment, the Free Zone has teamed up with Emirates Red Crescent to give a donation every time a post is made.

DMCC Executive Chairman Ahmed Sultan Bin Sulayem said:  "We are the fastest growing and largest Free Zone in the U.A.E. and we are the only commodity hub for diamonds, gold and tea in the country. DMCC has established a great infrastructure and provides the right environment to allow companies to set up easily, trade with confidence and grow. Reaching 10,000 members is just the start for us."

DMCC - Made For Trade

DMCC has a strong track record in commodity trade facilitation and we encourage and support business through the platforms we provide. These include our Free Zone, commodity exchanges, legal and regulatory frameworks and our strong real estate offering. As part of our DMCC Free Zone expansion strategy to provide large corporates with a commercial property offering unique to the Dubai marketplace - DMCC is developing the 'Burj 2020 District' with the world's tallest commercial tower, the 'Burj 2020', as its centrepiece. www.dmcc.ae Dubai
