Dubai, UAE, April 27, 2015: Dubai Land Department (DLD)'s participation at this year's Careers UAE 2015, the nation's major jobs fair held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, is being characterised by its strong support of Emiratisation. The government real estate organisation will have two stands at the event, which takes place April 28-30, 2015 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

"Our participation at Careers UAE 2015 reflects our commitment to the Emiritisation strategy that is being applied by our wise leadership, as well as our dedication to the policy that is concerned with the advancement of young nationals and recent graduates," said HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD. "We are extremely keen to create opportunities that fit with young nationals' qualifications, as this will contribute to the comprehensive development of our great nation. In addition to this approach, Careers UAE 2015 allows us to highlight national prestige and show DLD's vital role in the country," he added.

DLD's participation at the region's foremost careers exhibition comes under the theme of "Innovation.. Leads to Excellence" and focuses on objectives to achieve the ambitions of the national agenda, which is aimed at developing the capacity of youth and providing outstanding job opportunities for them in all market segments. In taking part, DLD will be supporting Emiratisation by offering a range of employment opportunities specifically targeted to various disciplines.

"This exhibition is the best place to attract young nationals and secure their employment. Emiratis need to be ready to lead the journey of progress and prosperity that the country is currently experiencing. As a prominent UAE organisation, DLD aims to attract talented and qualified citizens to explore opportunities with us and to continue with the high employment rate for nationals," added Bin Mejren.

Every year, Careers UAE hosts a significant number of national organisations who work on various initiatives to support local talent. Alongside the expected high footfall from members of the general public attending, the exhibition attracts the attention of official authorities and the media, as the event is deemed an instrumental component in helping the UAE achieve a sustainable economy through both private and public sector activities. According to the organisers of Careers UAE 2014, last year's edition of the fair hosted 160 exhibitors and received 18,602 visitors.
