Dubai Courts continues to reap pioneering achievements, recently ranking ninth in the 'Customer Satisfaction' category under 'Dubai Government Excellence Program 2015' to climb 11 places up from the previous year. This progress is a result of the significant improvements attained by Dubai Courts, specifically in raising the level of its customer satisfaction to 92.3 per cent to confirm its commitment to provide facilities and the best legal and advisory services designed to enhance the well-being of customers and the community. This is in response to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to please all members of society.

This achievement is the outcome of the Dubai Courts' tireless and ambitious efforts to adopt and implement innovation and smart transformation. The organization aims to fully shift to 'smart' services by the end of 2015 and have a total of 210 smart services designed specifically for legal and judicial transactions in order to increase customer satisfaction further and achieve the highest degree of happiness for the services it renders as part of Dubai's 'Happiness Index' initiative. To date, Dubai Courts has already launched 110 smart services, the most important being the 'Al-Salfa' program for case registration and electronic transactions and 'Smart Detention,' a first-of-its-kind program in the region which enables enforcement bailiffs to complete all detention procedures and processes through smart tablet-based applications in order to accelerate the enforcement of judicial decisions and judgments.

Dubai Courts has also launched a 'Private Notary' service that ensures compliance with World Bank standards on notary practice, and a 'Sure' service that provide the best free legal advice to clients across local attorney offices. Another initiative, 'Centre for Amicable Settlements of Disputes,' works on resolving civil, commercial and real estate disputes amicably in just half an hour, in addition to opening a number of personal status centers in the most vital areas in the emirate to ensure access to a wider range of customers.

H.E. Expert Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director General, Dubai Courts, emphasizes that his organization will spare no effort to improve the quality of legal and judicial services provided to customers to meet their needs in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency, speed and professional standards. He noted the Courts' commitment to continuously updating its full service portfolio to further enhance and develop Dubai's judicial system and help consolidate its leading position on the global legal map.

Commenting on its 9th overall ranking, Al Mansouri said: "The Dubai Government Excellence Program is an important step in supporting joint efforts towards stimulating innovation and creativity, and inspiring the spirit of excellence and leadership in government work. We are pleased with the big leap achieved by Dubai Courts in ascending 11 positions within the Dubai Excellence Award's Customer Satisfaction category. This reflects the strong response to our portfolio of smart services and affirms our continued commitment to facilitate and accelerate the work of the courts in Dubai for the benefit of customers and society in general. These complement the directive of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to achieve the happiness of clients."

Aside from its big achievement under the customer satisfaction category, Dubai Courts also improved its human resource satisfaction to 83 per cent to rank 7th among government departments and bodies. Moreover, Dubai Courts also received the Dubai Excellence Award in recognition of its 'Sure' service which has performed strongly over the recent period. In addition, Omar Mohammed Sharif Harmozi, one of its staff, also won the 'Creative Employee Award' as well in recognition of his effective contributions in support of the work of the Dubai Courts.
