Manama, Bahrain - 25 May 2015 - The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities for the BD43 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days, has been oversubscribed by 166%.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on 27 May 2015 and matures on 26 August 2015, is 1.2% compared to 0.92% for the previous issue on 22 April 2015.
The securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This is issue No.169 (ISIN BH00087C10S0) of Sukuk Al-Salam securities.
