Bahrain Cinema Company, market leaders in the entertainment industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain, also known as Cineco, announced the signing of a major corporate deal with the Wadi Al Sail Mall in Riffa that entails the leasing of space in the Mall for the setting up of a new 6 screen Cineplex and a branch of Rendezvous Restaurant.
The signing took place recently at the headquarters of Bahrain Cinema Company in Manama and the ceremony was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Cinema Company, Mr. Ahmed Rashed in the presence of officials from Cineco and Wadi Al Sail Mall.
Construction work for the project has already started and once all civil works are completed, Cineco will then proceed with all the necessary fittings for the Cineplex followed by the same for Rendezvous. The target date for the completion of all works is mid-March 2016.
The initiative for the new Cineplex comes as part of Cineco's extensive expansion plans in the Kingdom of Bahrain and it substantially increases the number of its screens that are already showing movies in the Kingdom. The total value of Cineco's investment in this project is $6.5 million and it further consolidates the company's current position as leaders in the entertainment industry in Bahrain.

The new Cineplex will have the impressive capacity of 809 seats and will encompass the latest in technological advancements in the global entertainment industry.
Cineco Operations include the management of a large number of cinemas and restaurants within Bahrain and the G.C.C countries.
