The Government of Dubai Media Office, 14 March, 2015:  The Organising Committee of the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit (ASMIS) has named Etisalat as a partner for the event, which will be held in Dubai on 17 and 18 March 2015.

"The partnership with a prestigious national company like Etisalat adds significant value to the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, and strengthens the Summit's efforts to achieve its objectives," said H.E. Abdullah Al Basti, Director General of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Executive Office and Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee of ASMIS.

"We see this partnership as an opportunity to establish a culture of positive communication. In this direction, our cooperation with Etisalat will provide a platform for Arab social media influencers from different sectors and fields," added H.E. Al Basti.

Leading Arab and international influencers will attend the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit to discuss potential ways to enhance the use of social media platforms in serving the Arab community.  The Summit will offer the right environment to stimulate the positive use of social media through networking opportunities with key social media influencers with the aim of turning innovative ideas into initiatives that can contribute to community development in all areas.

The Summit includes interactive sessions such as 'Positivity as a method of communication', 'Impact of social media platforms on human beings', and 'Overcoming challenges through social media'.  In addition, the agenda will focus on the relationship between traditional and new media in shaping the future.
