UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - Allen & Overy today announces the promotion of 22 lawyers to partner across its global network. Women make up 40% of these promotions bringing the total proportion of female partners to 17%. This includes the promotion of Ian Bevan (Real Estate) to partner in the Abu Dhabi office. 

The promotions, effective as of 1 May 2015, are across 12 offices in 11 countries and include six different practice areas with the largest number in the banking practice, followed by corporate. The majority of the promotions are outside of London (68%) demonstrating the continued investment in the global network, particularly in developed markets.
