Al Nimr International Exhibition Organisers (Al Nimr Expo), one of the leading event management companies in the Sultanate announced its partnership with the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) to organise its events after the state-of the art venue is launched in 2016.

Al Nimr Expo is renowned for the quality of its Trade Exhibitions, Conferences, Seminars and Training Workshops, mainly organising events related to various sectors in industries ranging from construction to education, since its operation in 2009.

Al Nimr Expo also supports the country's initiative and encourages Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by giving special prices to participate in all its events and will continue to do so in the new venue as well.

IDF Expo will be the first exhibition to be organised at the OCEC in 2016. Al Nimr Expo will also organise the premier Trade exhibitions Infra Oman Exhibition - Oman's International Exhibition for Infrastructure & Industrial Projects and The EduTrac Oman, an annual exhibition that focuses on Higher Education, Training and Career Opportunities at the OCEC.

The new Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre is set to become an iconic landmark for the Sultanate of Oman and is all set to attract more international business travelers to the country.

The Centre will feature two tiered auditoriums to seat 3,200 and 450 while the five exhibition halls will feature 22,000 square metres of column-free exhibition space. Hall 1 will have a superior fit out, specialised acoustic treatment, advanced lighting and rigging requirements to act as a multi-purpose space for plenary sessions, concerts, performances and gala events on a larger scale. Halls 1 & 2 combined will seat up to 10,000 in theatre-style.

The Centre will also include an additional 13 meeting rooms for 80-300 delegates, two well-appointed ballrooms to seat up to 2,590, 10 hospitality suites, a VIP Pavilion, a spacious food-court and a multi-storey car park with a capacity for 4,000 vehicles.

The Centre will provide the infrastructure necessary to host successful international, regional and local events and its precinct is there for for the enjoyment of delegates, visitors and the local community. The precinct includes a five star hotel linked to the Centre, two four star properties, a three star hotel and apartments with a combined total of 1,000 rooms.  A business park and a retail shopping mall, surrounded by a nature reserve which will be a haven for Oman's exotic birdlife, together with parklands and a wadi (valley) park are also part of this picturesque precinct.

About the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre
Opening in 2016, the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre is located in its own fully integrated precinct only four kilometres froms Muscat International Airport.
