BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--State-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. for Distribution is setting up a natural gas network in a number of residential sites in the Abu Dhabi emirate, Abu Dhabi-based Al Ittihad daily reports Tuesday citing an executive.
The company, also known as Adnoc Distribution, is now focusing on the residential sector with the possibility of expanding the project in the future to include the industrial and commercial sectors, Abdullah Al Dhaheri, the company's general manager, said according to the paper.
The Abu Dhabi emirate is currently witnessing a growing demand for natural gas from its residential and commercial sectors, the daily cites him as saying.
Adnoc Distribution, is a fully-owned unit of state-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., or Adnoc, according to Zawya.com data.
