ABU DHABI, 17th May, 2015 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, has confirmed a panel of experts to lead the research and development discussions during the 4th ADRAC Conference and Exhibition, to be held from May 24th ? 26th at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC.

"At the fourth ADRAC, we are pleased to welcome the foremost minds on energy R&D to discuss and collaborate with the goal of identifying new solutions for the region?s oil and gas challenges. As part of the ADRAC programme, a Chief Technology Officers, CTO, summit will be held on May 25th to introduce a debate "How Can Innovation from Other Industries Play a Key Role in Enhancing Performance in the Energy Sector?" As the technological challenges of the industry are mounting, crossover technologies from other sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and even medicine are making their way into the oil and gas sector, providing new solutions and applications that in turn help drive efficiencies, boost productivity and optimise performance.

There are more than 60 challenges that ADRAC aims to address by creating a unique platform where work-in-progress research and new ideas can find their way to future deployment or trial in real-field applications.
