ABU DHABI, 1st August, 2015 (WAM) -- ADNOC Distribution has launched its Al Shabhana Service Station in Al Silaa district located in the Western Region of the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The newly opened facility aims to meet the increasing demand for ADNOC Distribution?s services and products in the Western Region.

Al Shabhana station was inaugurated by Saeed Mohammed Ali Al Rasas Al Mansouri, Executive Director of Citizens? Affairs Department at the Ruler's Representative Court - Western Region, and Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, in the presence of senior officials from ADNOC Distribution and high profile guests from across the emirate.

The new service station includes four fueling islands with eight dispensers as well as two islands comprising four diesel fuel dispensers specially dedicated to heavy vehicles. Customers at the new service station can benefit from round-the-clock services including oil change, and purchasing of a wide range of fuel products such as lubes and LPG cylinders. In addition, motorists can opt to unwind or carry out their retail purchases at the ADNOC Oasis store and fast food outlets located within the station.

Speaking at the launch, Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, said, "ADNOC Distribution is keen to leverage our growing network of service stations to cope with the rapid urban and economic development in the Western Region. The inauguration of Al Shabhana service station is in line with our strategic direction to enhance our operational capacity by establishing more service stations to keep pace with the increasing demand for our high quality products and services across the length and breadth of the UAE."
