IPIC awards FEED services contract for pipeline project

Abu Dhabi, Sep. 6, 2007 (WAM) -- International PetroleumInvestment Company (IPIC) has awarded the FEED services contractfor the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline (ADCOP) Project to WorleyParsons.

IPIC has previously awarded the Project Management Consultancy(PMC) services contract for the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline(ADCOP) Project to ILF Consulting Engineers (ILF).

The ADCOP Project comprises the construction of a 360 km, 48inch diameter pipeline and associated facilities with a capacityfor carrying 1.5 million barrels per day of crude oil from Habshanin Abu Dhabi to Fujairah. It will include storage and terminalfacilities for crude export from Fujairah.

ILF Consulting Engineers is acting as the Project ManagementConsultant for the project.

IPIC is owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi, and is responsiblefor long term equity investments in hydrocarbons related companiesand projects on a global basis, with a current portfolio valuedat around $10 billion.
