Partnership aims to shape the future of the real estate sector from innovative public ideas

Dubai - United Arab Emirates - Dubai Land Department (DLD) has recently announced its cooperation with Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis, which will take place on the sidelines of Cityscape Global 2016, the prominent real estate exhibition which is the largest of its kind in the region.

This collaboration comes in response to the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis (MBR Smart Majlis) initiative, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The MBR Smart Majlis is a smart application which anyone can download, and which enables all of Dubai's residents, visitors and supporters around the world to submit innovative ideas and suggestions, in order to contribute towards developing Dubai into the smartest and fastest-developing city in the world.

During the Cityscape Global 2016 exhibition, which takes place 6th to 8th September at Dubai World Trade Centre, the DLD stand will showcase their 2016 - 2021 strategy, and visitors will be provided with the opportunity to submit innovative ideas and suggestions through the MBR Smart Majlis app, which will be available on smart tablets at the stand. Attendees can also participate in open discussions with DLD employees, to encourage them to contribute towards shaping the future of Dubai, particularly in the real estate sector.

HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD said: "We are delighted to embark upon this partnership with Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Majlis, which provides an integrated platform to supply us with creative ideas. This initiative has been carried out in order to achieve our strategic goals, aimed at transforming Dubai into the best real estate investment destination in the world and creating a happy environment underpinned by innovation. We have established this working relationship with a view to formulating the best ideas we gain into magnificent initiatives and projects, and to continue improving our service offering for our customers. Furthermore, we are also honoured to support the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to advance Dubai's global rankings across all sectors and fields."

Mr Mohammed Ali bin Aboud Al Falasi, Director of the Board of Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Majlis said: "We are keen to activate our relationships with all government departments and organisations, and to motivate individuals from the general public to submit creative ideas. The collection of constructive feedback will help Dubai to stay at the forefront developments and unprecedented achievements in the region and the world. Both parties look forward to the results of this partnership, which aims to contribute towards positive engagement of customers and visitors, and to highlight the DLD's ambitious efforts to develop proactive solutions in all aspects of the real estate sector's work. In addition to all this, DLD is using this relationship as a valuable tool to spread awareness of its strategy for the next five years amongst the exhibition's visitors, which attracts a significant number of people every year.
