Qasr-e-Shirin, Kermanshah Province – Governor of Qasr-e-Shirin city Faramarz Akbari said on Monday that in the past year (ended March 20) totally one billion and 28 million dollars of goods have been exported from Parviz Khan and Khosravi border terminals to Iraq.

He told IRNA that the weight of the exported goods in this period is 3.255 million tons and mainly included Portland cement, cake and biscuit, cooler, tomato and tomato paste, watermelon, dairy products, construction materials, fruits and vegetables.

Akbari said that $65 million were passed from Khosravi border terminal and 963 million dollars from Parviz Khan Terminal to Kurdistan region in Iraq.

Parviz Khan Border Terminal which is neighboring Iraq's Kurdistan region was opened officially 10 years ago.

Now, 54 percent of Iran’s non-oil export to Iraq is from this terminal.

Border city of Qasr-e-Shirin located in west of western province of Kermanshah and has 186 kilometers common border with Iraq and it has two official border terminals of Parviz Khan and Khosravi.

Daily 800 to 1200 trucks transfer goods from Parviz Khan Border to Iraq Kurdistan region and around 500 trucks take goods from Khosravi to central part of Iraq.

Meanwhile, 600 Iraqi and Iranian fuel tankers from Iraqi Kurdistan region enter daily in average into Iran’s territory forwarding southern ports of Iran.
