NEW YORK - Aug. 9, 2016

Henry Tajer, Global CEO of IPG Mediabrands, today has announced the appointment of Caroline Foster Kenny as CEO of IPG Mediabrands across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective January 2017. Foster Kenny has over 25 years of global client leadership and business experience across multiple verticals, spanning all marketing communications.

"Caroline's reputation throughout the industry as a strategic leader, who is wholly focused on client growth and service is not only an asset to our operations throughout EMEA, but to the entire IPG Mediabrands network," said Tajer.  "Over the past year, we've had a number of successes in the region, and I'm thrilled for Caroline to come in and advance the exciting plans we have in place to elevate our network in EMEA."

Foster Kenny joins the network from WPP's GroupM where she spent nearly 15 years building and growing global client relationships, most recently serving as Global Chief Client Officer at MEC since 2010. In this role, she oversaw MEC's top 30 global clients and relationships. Previously, she was responsible for the Global Solutions Team, formed of 12 international hubs. Foster Kenny was a member of MEC's Global Executive Committee, reporting directly to Charles Courtier, Global CEO.

Foster Kenny will report into Henry Tajer and joins the Global Leadership Team. Her appointment rounds out IPG Mediabrands' regional leadership team. In July, Omnicom veteran Leigh Terry was appointed CEO, IPG Mediabrands APAC, joining Andrea Suarez who was appointed CEO, IPG Mediabrands LATAM in 2015.
