H. E Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Presented the Award to EDI

Dubai, UAE - Emirates Driving Institute (EDI), the largest driving school in Middle East wins the Dubai Quality Award, one of UAE's most prestigious business excellence awards, for 2015 in the services sector yet again.

H.E. Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, presented the award to Dr. Ahmed Belhasa, Chairman, Emirates Driving Institute & Mr. Amer Ahmed Belhasa, Managing Director, Emirates Driving Institute at the Business Excellence Awards ceremony hosted by the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai.

Speaking on this achievement, Mr. Amer Ahmed Belhasa, Managing Director, Emirates Driving Institute said: "To get this prestigious award for the second time is indeed a matter of great pride for us. As EDI completes its 25 years of driving excellence, this award is a strong reiteration of our commitment to creating safer drivers by providing services of highest international standard. It is also a reward for all our staff members who have successfully contributed over the years to create brand 'EDI'. This award inspires us to further strengthen our reputation as the leading learner and driver training organization in the Middle East."

The Dubai Quality Award is based on the Excellence Model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Dubai Quality Award is not a process for generating winners and losers; it is a process for recognising role model organisations. It is also a process for providing organisations with a 'roadmap' to achieve excellence through the adoption of good practices and soundly-based approaches that are deployed systematically and are continuously measured and reviewed.
