Abu Dhabi - ADS Securities, has announced that Dr Ryan Lemand has joined the Abu Dhabi based financial services firm as Head of Managed Solutions and Business Development, in the Asset Management team.
Dr Lemand was previously the Senior Advisor and Head of Risk Management at the Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority. He has also held roles as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Fortis Investments in London and Paris, as well as teaching financial econometrics courses at the Paris II-Assas University and Paris IX-Dauphine University.
Commenting on the appointment, Matteo Legler ADS Securities' Chief Operating Officer, Head of Global Markets, Wealth Management and Asset Management, said: "Our focus is on developing innovative asset management solutions and structuring new products to deliver high quality asset management services. Dr Lemand holds a PhD (summa cum laude) in Financial Econometrics from the École Normale Supérieure, France, and is the author of two books on financial contagion, as well as a number of research articles on financial correlation.
