Bank Sohar’s Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2017 continues to be a tremendous success with customers, ushering in another lot of lucky winners during its third monthly draw conducted at a recent VIP gathering held in Wilayat Al Rustaq. Held under the auspices of Shaikh Dr. Saif Mohammed Senan Al Ghaithi, Deputy Wali Al Rustaq, the Monthly Draws witnessed OMR 45,000 in cash prizes won by 32 winners. These included a General Draw for OMR 10,000; Children’s Draw for OMR 1,000 and a Female Draw for OMR 5,000. Additionally, the dedicated Branch Draws which saw one winner from each of the Banks’ 29 branches win OMR 1,000 each, were conducted earlier at the Bank’s head office.

Representing Bank Sohar at the Event were Mr. Khamis Masoud Al Rahbi, Senior AGM and Acting Head of Retail Banking, Mr. Mazin Mahmood Al Raisi, Senior AGM of Marketing and Customer Experience, Mr. Rashid Saif Al Maskry, District Manager of the Batinah Region, Mr. Badar Sulaiman Khalfan Al Mayahi, Acting Senior Al Rustaq Branch Manager, together with other senior members of the Bank and Branch Managers, who welcomed the chief guest and the Bank’s VIP customers from the area.

The event was inaugurated with a welcome note by Mr. Badar Sulaiman Khalfan Al Mayahi, followed by a speech by Mr. Mazin Mahmood Al Raisi highlighting the various milestones achievements of the Bank. The speech was followed by a short documentary video highlighting the Bank’s milestones and achievements of the past ten years after which a dance performance was performed by talented school students from the area organized by the Omani Women’s Association - Al Rustaq Branch. This was followed by a brief overview by Mr. Redha Al Lawati, Sr. Chief Manager of Liabilities and Sales, on the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2017 and an outline of each of the draws that were to be conducted. In addition, audience raffle draw was held were 5 lucky winners been awarded by the chief guest.

On behalf of Bank Sohar and in appreciation of the participants from the school students, the Guest of Honour, Deputy Wali of Al Rustaq then handed over the performers with a token of appreciation.

Throughout the evening, the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme Monthly Draws were conducted at different stages of the event starting off with the Children’s Draw which saw Ahmed Al Lawati (Minor) from Al Khuwair Branch, win OMR 1,000.  The Female Draw followed, which saw Ms. Huda Al Rawahi from Al Khoudh Branch win OMR 5,000. The final draw of the day was the General Draw which saw Mr. Musatafa Abdul Khaliq from MBD Branch win OMR 10,000.

Towards the end of the evening and following the completion of all draws, the Chief Guest was presented with a token of appreciation by Mr. Khamis Masoud Al Rahbi on behalf of the Bank.

The Monthly Branch Draws that had taken place earlier in the day witnessed a customer from each of the Bank’s branches win OMR 1,000. Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2017 provides customers chances to win these exciting cash prizes and many more. The Scheme continues with its Hourly prize draws of OMR 1,000 for four winners each from Sunday to Wednesday. This year the Bank introduced three new Weekly draws, including a Children’s draw where five minor accounts holders each win OMR 100, General draw of OMR 1,500 for two winners, and an Exclusive Weekly draw of OMR 5,000 specifically for the Bank’s customers who maintain high deposit account. This will take place in addition to a monthly draw specifically for children where one minor account wins OMR 1,000. The Bank will also be conducting General draws with one winner of OMR 10,000 monthly; alongside the Female draws with one winner of OMR 5,000 monthly and the Branch Draws, where one customer from each of the Bank’s Branches win OMR 1,000 every month. Lastly, the Bank will be conducting an Exclusive Draw of OMR 100,000 for one winner as part of the Year-End Draws; alongside a Children’s prize draw for one winner of OMR 10,000 and Regional draws where one winner from branches in each of the Bank’s four operational regions, namely ‘Muscat’, ‘Al Batinah’ including Al Buraimi Branch, ‘Al Dakhiliya’ covering Ibri and Sharqiya Branches, and Salalah including Privilege Banking Unit, will win a prize of OMR 20,000 each.
