Muscat, Oman: Ooredoo and Nokia have announced a partnership for the introduction of Nokia’s FastMile 4G and 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) on-premises gateway, which offers an amazing and superfast in-home Wi-Fi experience to customers across the Sultanate. The new state-of-the-art units will provide homes and businesses with a fantastic internet experience.
Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Abri, Chief Technology and Information Officer at Ooredoo Oman, said, “Fixed wireless access is a critical part of our strategy to provide high-speed internet across Oman. The Nokia FastMile FWA gateway includes customer premises equipment with a built-in modem and antenna. Together, they provide a powerful end-to-end solution delivering guaranteed sustained rates to Ooredoo Oman fixed wireless subscribers.
