Entitled 'Sports without Delinquency' conference on preventing and combating crime in sports is being held from January 26 to 28

Dubai, UAE: In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts towards the society and the country at large, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is sponsoring the 5th Sports versus Crime International Conference under the theme 'Sports without Delinquency' organised by Dubai Police from January 26 to 28 for preventing and combating of crime in sports.

Dubai Chamber's support to this Dubai Police initiative comes under the successful strategic partnership prevailing between various Dubai Government departments, entities and organisations that work jointly for the benefit of all segments of the society while serving the emirate's reputation as a safe destination globally.

Essa Al Zaabi, Senior Vice-President, Institutional Support Sector, Dubai Chamber, informed that the Chamber's participation in this important conference is to support Dubai Police's efforts to reduce crime, and to provide security and safety for the emirate's residents as this also goes on to enhance Dubai's reputation as an ideal and crime-free destination for tourists, residents and businesses.

He stated that sports defines healthy living besides instilling safety and security of a healthy lifestyle as he lauded Dubai Police's efforts to reduce crime adding that this initiative is also part of Dubai Chamber's support to all activities organised by Government departments and entities in promoting community awareness as well as serving the interests of all sections of the society.
