Just 10 months after its launch, insydo was named ‘Startup of the Year’ at the Arabian Business Startup Awards that took place in Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi on October 15, 2016.
This ambitious homegrown startup has already built a growing fan base of over 300,000 unique visitors per month, becoming the go-to city guide and a voice of influence in Dubai with the release of its native iOS and Android applications.
insydo was also recognised by Forbes Middle East this year as one of UAE’s ‘Most Promising Startups’, in addition to accolades for ‘Startup Brand Penetration’ at the Enterprise Agility Awards.
Launched on the web in January 2016, insydo recommends the best (of everything) in Dubai, giving users access to over 3,000 business reviews across 400+ categories.
Showcasing ‘The Good, The Bad and The Tips’, the reviews are crafted by a team of editors who secretly scope out the businesses (like a mystery shopper) to deliver independent and unbiased recommendations.
This creative startup is already on track to launch in new cities in 2017.

The Founder- Tanaz Dizadji
As the Founder and CEO of insydo, Tanaz uses her background in marketing, finance and tech to build a search-centric product that provides people with curated recommendations and the best businesses in the city.
Graduating with a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick, Tanaz started her career as a chartered accountant in investment management at PwC in London.
Before delving into the world of technology, Tanaz was the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for Omnicom Media Group and led philanthropic and artistic projects for the Elephant Parade and START.
When she’s not fusing the world of coding and content, Tanaz blogs on LinkedIn and shares the journey of her digital start-up.
Tanaz was recognized as one of the UAE’s 50 Most Influential Brits.
