Bayt.com, the Middle East’s top job site, has revealed the most applied for jobs in the UAE between March and May 2020, in effort to help job seekers stay relevant in an ever-changing job market and to increase their chances of finding a job amidst the ongoing crisis.
 
So much has changed in the business world and the recruitment landscape since the start of 2020. The pandemic known as COVID-19 has left both companies and job seekers scrimmaging to adapt to a fully virtual world, including a fully online recruitment process.
 
Evidently, Bayt.com reported that the number of job applications submitted to career openings in the UAE exceeded 700,000 applications between March and May 2020.
 
Many job roles that are much needed to be on the ground today to help fighting COVID-19 and reduce its impact have become of great importance for both employers and job seekers. This is particularly true in key fields such as Technology & Information Services, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Internet & E-commerce, and Distribution & Logistics, which were among the most active sectors in recruitment amidst the virus outbreaks.
