Doha, Qatar: Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has announced today that Vodafone Qatar will be the Official Sponsor of the Aspire Embassies tournament scheduled to take place from 4-27 April 2019 in partnership with Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The tournament features 16 teams comprised of heads of the diplomatic missions from each embassy. This recent collaboration between AZF and Vodafone Qatar is part of the latter’s strategy to support a myriad of community and sports events in Qatar. Aspire Zone has been chosen as partner because it attracts thousands of sports enthusiasts on a daily basis.

The tournament, which grew out of the popular Aspire Ramadan Sports Festival in 2015, is an opportunity for diplomats and embassy staff to take a break from their typical work setting and experience an electrifying environment that combines physical activity and entertainment.

The tournament will see this Thursday, 4 April, Jordan facing India at 5:00pm, followed by Syria vs Mali at 6:00pm, Iraq vs South Africa at 7:00pm and Bosnia vs Eritrea at 8:00pm.
