Muscat, Oman:—Oman’s largest healthcare and medical event organized by biggest exhibitions and conferences organizer Omanexpo, opened on Monday at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre under the auspices of the His Excellency Sayyid Dr. Sultan bin Yarub Al Busaidi, Advisor to the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs.

Oman Health Exhibition & Conference, recognized as the flagship health and medical event in Oman now on its ninth edition, will run from September 23 to 25. This year, the show will once again offer fresh business and networking opportunities by presenting close to 100 participating companies from China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Slovakia, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

An exhibit of the latest medical products, equipment and technology, medical disposables and consumables, personal care products, diagnostic and laboratory equipment, instruments and services, pharmaceutical products, ayurvedic services and centers, physiotherapy and orthopaedic technology that range from eye care, skin care, cosmetic to infertility treatment consultancy will provide an anticipated 5,000 visitors with the opportunity to learn and see firsthand what are available to them.

Highlighting the exhibition is the India pavilion, with more than 40 companies representing various health and medical segments and hospitals and healthcare centers. The Iran pavilion equally offers several health and medical treatments and services.

The associated free-to-attend three-day conference sessions will be presented by a qualified lineup of highly esteemed health and medical experts, who will discuss the health workforce and safe practice environment, human resources in health, health labor market trends and dynamics, patient safety, risk and performance management. The two-day workshops designed for medical specialists will also be a free-to-attend affair. The sessions are accredited by the Oman Specialty Board (OMSB).      

The organizers have also ensured a more worthwhile visitor experience by offering free medical consultations with specialists from some of the biggest clinics, hospitals and healthcare providers in Germany, Iran, India, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia and Turkey.

Business-to-business meetings are also happening alongside the main sphere of action.

Oman Health Exhibition & Conference has enlisted the support of Khimji Ramdas-Health and Medical Infrastructure, Aster Hospitals, Capital Market Authority, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and the Directorate Medical Technologies, Ministry of Health.

Oman Health Exhibition and Conference will be open from the 23rd to the 25th of September from 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
