The award is based on a survey conducted by Apex Media, a leading publishing house in the Sultanate. Winners were determined by over 700,000 eligible survey entries.

Apex Media, which made the announcement in a ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Muscat Oman Convention and Events Centre, bases its awards exclusively on consumers’ votes. The organisation takes several steps to ensure that the survey receives ample exposure across all segments of Oman’s population and throughout the country, and that there is no duplicate voting or voting from outside Oman.
