(TAP) – During the period from January 2012 to October 2018, 503 entrepreneurs benefited from the "Intilak" grant, a self-financing mechanism for the launch of micro- projects, for 3,394 million dinars. These credits have created 1,195 job opportunities, the regional development director Sami Ben Rayana told TAP.

So far, 475 projects have come into operation in the medical, services, agri-food, industrial, building materials, clothing, textile, environmental and industrial sectors, computer and software development.

Besides, some thirty new requests have been approved in principle by the Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS).

The "Intilak" endowment is a mechanism created in 2011 to finance business start-ups through the BTS. It is a five-year refundable credit with no interest rate.
