Solomon Aviles: “This initiative is a continuation of Lafarge Egypt's efforts to play its role in backing the Egyptian community in its battle against Coronavirus, and to support the company’s commitment of promoting the value of health and safety. Our first initiative took place in Suez Governorate last April, and we are now moving to the Delta to support its public hospitals.

In collaboration with “Association des Anciennes du Collège de la Mère de Dieu for Community Development,” Lafarge Egypt dedicated 22000 face masks for the safety of the medical service providers in the public hospitals of El-Gharbeya and El-Sharkeya Governorates, including Basyoun Central Hospital, Fever Hospital and El-Zagazig Hospital for Chest Diseases. This initiative is a continuation of Lafarge Egypt’s efforts which began last April in Suez by supplying disinfectants and face masks to governorate’s staff.

Last May and June, in collaboration with the Egyptian Food and Cure Banks, the company supported the irregular staff and participated in the repair of ventilators in public hospitals.

Mr. Solomon Aviles stated: "This initiative is a continuation of Lafarge Egypt's efforts to play its role in backing the Egyptian community in its battle against Coronavirus and to support the company’s aim toward promoting the value of health and safety. In April, Lafarge kicked off the initiative in Suez and now we are moving to Delta Zone to support its public hospitals.
