Dubai, United Arab Emirates: India’s Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) has re-appointed Mr. Kamal Vachani as the regional director in the Middle East for the 22nd consecutive year, according to a statement issued by the ESC.

The ESC is India’s premier trade promotion association for the electronics and computer software sector. It’s an autonomous organisation under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India.

Kamal Vachani is representing the Council in the region since 1999. He is also the group director of the Al Maya Group and Chairman of the Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) – Dubai Chapter.

“The ESC is very much satisfied with the efforts of Kamal Vachani in promoting India’s electronics and IT products to the Middle East. Vachani has been actively sponsoring IT delegations’ visits to the region. He also extends his sincere support to Indian companies for participation in trade shows in the region,” said Executive Director of ESC Gurmeet Singh in the statement.

Mr. Singh added: “We are confident that your dedicated involvement in export promotion from India would benefit the entire industry and will lead to new trade ventures in the Middle East region.”
