Tehran – Iran is ready to construct power plant in other countries, Iranian first vice president said on Saturday.

'In the infrastructure sector, we have made very good achievements; building power plants by using the internal capacities is one of them,' Eshaq Jahangiri said in a local ceremony on Saturday.

He added that Iran has the ability to construct power plant in other countries, noting that 'the neighboring country, Iraq is an example'.

Jahangiri referred to Iran progresses in the electricity industry and said that 'the Islamic Republic of Iran is able to become the region's biggest hub for production and distribution of electricity.'

He referred to Iran and Russia deal for building new nuclear plants, and expressed the hope for production and use of clean energies, including the nuclear energy, in the country in the future.
