Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Bukhatir Education Advancement and Management (BEAM), celebrated the excellence of its inspiring teachers and employees at the recent annual Nujoom, The Night of the Stars awards ceremony.
In its second year, the prestigious awards marked the achievements of more than 1,000 leading educators and staff, acknowledging their contribution to nurturing leaders of the future and placing BEAM’s Creative Science Schools amongst the leading international British and American curriculum K-12 providers in the UAE.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Salah Bukhatir, CEO of BEAM and Vice Chairman of Bukhatir Group said: “We are here tonight to honor our teachers and all who support them, because we know that the greatest institution for social change is the school and the greatest instrument of change is the teacher.”

The Nujoom-The Night of Stars award nominations almost doubled this year and saw recognition of individuals and teams across 30 diverse award categories including ‘Most Dynamic Principal’, ‘Most Inspiring Leader,’ ‘Go Green Crew,’ ‘Creative Scientist,’ and the Big Trophy for ‘The Educator of the Year’ which was awarded to Dr Mohamed Abid from ISCS Muwaileh.
Mr Bukhatir, in the presence of BEAM’s senior leadership team, concluded his speech by thanking all who have worked so relentlessly to support Beam’s vision acknowledging the efforts of the senior leadership team, as well as the principals and vice principals of the schools, the directors, supervisors, teachers and staff, and every member of the extended Beam family.
