Dubai-based logistics firm Aramex on Sunday announced that its Saudi subsidiary signed a partnership agreement with Al-Dawaa Medical Services Co. (DMSCO) in a bid to enhance its presence in the kingdom.

The deal’s first phase includes launching service centres within 20 branches of Al-Dawaa Pharmacies, while the second phase Aramex will entail expanding in hundreds of branches of the Al-Dawaa Pharmacies, according to a statement.

This contract will allow customers to return e-commerce shipments by delivering them to service centers, the international logistics and transportation firm noted.

“The strategic nature of today’s collaboration mirrors Saudi Arabia’s tremendous economic transformation, whilst meeting our customers’ demand for a convenient and accessible service,” general manager at Aramex Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Alnowaiser said.

Al-Dawaa Medical Services Co. (DMSCO) is the exclusive owner of Al-Dawaa Pharmacies.

“Partnering with one of the world’s leading brands is crucial as we look to develop our customer service and experience. Our vision is to be the first destination for our customers’ diverse cosmetic, medical, personal care and healthy nutrition needs,” Mohammad bin Saad Al Faraj, executive manager at DMSCO stated.
