Manama:  Mentorship Forum Middle East (MFME) today announced the formation of a mentorship “Think Tank” to lead in shaping the Forum’s 2021 programme focusing on “Prioritising Mentorship in a New World”.

The Forum, which will be held as a hybrid event in the Kingdom of Bahrain in November 2021, will leverage the knowledge and expertise of the “Think Tank”, comprised of a group of prominent C-suite leaders and senior HR and mentorship experts. Members of the “Think Tank” include: Ahmed H. Janahi, Head of Partnerships & Market Engagement of Labour Fund “Tamkeen”, Dana Buheji, Group Chief Human Resources & Sustainability Officer of National Bank of Bahrain, Farah Foustok, Managing Director & CEO of Lazard Gulf Ltd., Marwa Al Saad, Head-Human Capital of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, Mutlaq H. Al-Morished, CEO of Tasnee, Nick Savastano, Founder of Beyond Thinking, Rana Ghandour Salhab, People & Purpose Partner, Member of the Regional Executive Committee of Deloitte Middle East, Terrence Harrison, Manager Oil & Gas Academy of Bahrain Petroleum Company.

Together the advisory groups will debate and agree topics for the Forum’s keynote addresses, panel discussions and workshops, which will again be included as part of the progamme this year and aimed at promoting knowledge sharing and hands on learning that attendees can apply. They will also nominate speakers where appropriate with the Forum aiming to feature once again a top line up of business leaders and experts in training, development and mentorship.

Topics will be linked to this year’s theme and the critical challenges facing professionals and businesses as a result of COVID-19. This includes those relating to changes in the workplace stemming from the pandemic, gaps in training and development that have occurred and how organisations can harness the power of mentorship to ensure their human capital development goals stay or get back on track for business continuity and growth.

In addition to planning the Forum’s agenda for November, the “Think Tank” will also provide input and be engaged in developing a series of virtual roundtables that will also be organised introducing key themes and bringing together Forum partners and presenters.

Commenting, Ms. Zahraa Taher, Managing Director of FinMark Communications, the Forum’s founder and organiser, said, “We’re pleased to welcome this distinguished group of business leaders to our Forum “Think Tank”. Their shared experience, knowledge and passion for human capital development will be extremely important in the shaping of a dynamic, relevant and highly successful event once again this year. We looking forward to launching the first session of the “Think Tank” next week and to work on developing an engaging agenda to share with prospective speakers, partners and attendees and in the weeks ahead.”
