DOHA, 17 June 2015:

The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) has announced that Ghanim Al Muftah will be their newest Brand Ambassador.

Joining the QFC's first Brand Ambassador, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Thani, Ghanim Al Muftah was revealed today as the latest addition to the QFC during a premiere  of the QFC's latest television commercial (TVC) on Qatar TV.

Announcing the partnership, Yousuf Al-Jaida, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Ghanim is an accomplished young Qatari and an inspiration to many. His diverse contributions to our community and his perseverance in the face of difficulties are further proof of his determination to succeed. The idea behind this partnership is to underline the QFC's philosophy that great success comes from great support."

In the TVC, Ghanim is featured skateboarding. The camera then shifts focus from Ghanim to his father Mohammed Al Muftah - the support behind his success. Mohammed played a key role behind the scenes in encouraging his son and facilitating his success.

Commenting on the partnership with the QFC, Mohamed Al Muftah, said: "We chose to partner with the QFC because we believe that facilitating the success of those around us is a shared passion. Ghanim's ability to achieve his potential has inspired young people around the world to make the most of the opportunities presented to them and I'm proud to be a small part of his success."

Sheikh Mohammed Al-Thani's Everest ascent was featured in the first TVC, which focused on the support he received from Kami Rita Sherpa, an integral member of the Sheikh's climbing team.
