Kuwait: Behbehani Motors Company (BMC), the sole representative of international car brands Porsche, Volkswagen and Skoda in Kuwait, today announced that it had concluded its ‘Talent Development Program’ for 2021. This was a brand new initiative which was designed to provide continued training and development to staff members in many key business areas.

The program was delivered by the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at the American University of Kuwait (AUK). The participants completed seven modules throughout 2021 with the graduation taking place in November 2021. Due to the positive results and feedback, BMC aims to retain this program on an annual basis in order to increase the number of graduates year on year.

Commenting on the program, Behbehani Motors Company HR and Quality Assurance Manager, Elie Debs, said: “We at BMC are continually focused on strengthening our employees’ current skills sets, but we are also looking to give opportunities for our staff to learn and grow. This will give them the potential in the future to assume new roles and responsibilities within the company.

Debs added: “This program is also designed to elevate the notion of team work between various staff members from a variety of different operational functions.  Through programs such as the Talent Development Program, we aim to enhance our employees’ motivation, improve their career satisfaction levels, and ultimately increase productivity to exceed our customers’ expectations. What provided even a better value to the program is our partnership with AUK, one of Kuwait’s leading education institutions.”

Graduates of the Talent Development Program hold various positions across the many divisions within the group. The semesters the staff attended covered varied topics like, resilient leadership, finance for non-finance, successful negotiations, managing time with teams, and professional writing and content development.
