ABU DHABI- The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, and LEGO Education today signed a partnership agreement, to champion high-quality, innovative hands-on learning programmes designed to advance the study of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, STEM, in all ADNOC schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra region.

The agreement was signed at ADIPEC 2017 by Reem Al Buainain, Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at ADNOC, and Senthil Kugan, Director ATLAB / Emphor Trading, on behalf of LEGO Education.

Under the terms of the agreement, LEGO Innovation Studios will be constructed in all ADNOC schools and will benefit students from elementary to high school levels. The agreement covers the establishment of creative labs, teacher training and development programmes, and access to LEGO Educations global on-line collaboration communities.

Al Buainain said, "This partnership reaffirms ADNOCs unwavering commitment to the learning and development of students in our schools, in Abu Dhabi community and the UAE overall. Our childrens education is vital to the future prosperity of the UAE. The programme honours our wise leaderships vision and ambition to create innovative education experiences to allow our youth to fulfill their potential."Kugan said, "The programme represents ADNOCs significant investment in the acceleration and growth of STEM education, in ADNOC schools, that will create a positive and lasting impact on UAE society."
