RABAT - Morocco's central bank held its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 1.5% on Tuesday, saying its monetary policy was accommodative enough.

Inflation, driven mainly by food prices, remained feeble at 0.7% in 2020 and is expected to stand at 0.9% in 2021 before picking up to 1.2% in 2021, the central bank said in a statement following its quarterly meeting.
