Cairo – Mubasher: The governor of Qena Abdel Hamid El-Haggan has approved the allocation of EGP 600 million to implement a medium-term development plan for the next three years, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.

The development plan includes improving the efficiency of facilities in industrial zones, in addition to allocating EGP 575 million to development of production clusters, EGP 920 million to water and wastewater treatment projects, and EGP 705 million to local development.

The World Bank has partially financed the development plan which is part of the Upper Egypt local development programme.
