Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi's leading property development, management and investment company, has entered into a partnership with Mumbai-based ANAROCK Group, to sell its properties to investors in India.

The partnership with ANAROCK, an Indian real estate services firm, is expected to foster Aldar's strategy for growing its international reach and tap the large pool of Indian investors and buyers.

Talal Al Dhiyebi, CEO, Aldar Properties, said in a statement: “India is a very important market for Aldar and a core part of our strategy for international sales. Through our partnership with a leading player like ANAROCK, we aim to create a new gateway for Indian investors into the many opportunities that can be found in Abu Dhabi."

“This collaboration will enable Indian buyers to benefit from the newly introduced law (in UAE) regarding freehold ownership of land in investment zones and visa rules for real estate investors in Abu Dhabi, which have made our destinations even more attractive to international investors,” he added.

Aldar’s principal shareholders are state-owned Mubadala and other Abu Dhabi entities.

Its top properties include Mamsha Al Saadiyat, a luxurious beach front development in the Saadiyat Cultural District in Abu Dhabi and Yas Island developments such as Mayan, Yas Acres, and Water’s Edge, all of which are close to Ferrari World and Warner Bros World.

Aldar on Monday announced that its latest development Alreeman II, located in Abu Dhabi, has generated $114 million (420 million dirhams) in sales, with over 75 percent of the land plots sold.

Indians already rank among the top property investors in the UAE.

Anuj Puri, Group Chairman, ANAROCK Group, said: “The favourable market environment in Abu Dhabi offers Indians a great opportunity for investment and business growth. Partnering with Aldar will provide our client base in India access to some of the best properties and communities in the region."

ANAROCK, has a presence throughout the Middle East. In March, 2019 the company started its Abu Dhabi office, which is its second operational base in the UAE after launching operations in Dubai in 2017.
