Ukraine's air defence systems shot down 34 out of 44 Shahed drones launched by Russia overnight, Ukraine's Air Force said on Thursday.
"Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were engaged to repel the attack," military said on Telegram messaging app. (Reporting by Pavel Polityuk; Editing by Kim Coghill)
