Sri Lanka's macroeconomic situation is improving, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Tuesday as it called for achieving timely restructuring agreements with the country's creditors.
The IMF statement at the end of a staff visit to the country also said that its mission discussed additional fiscal efforts that would be critical to ensure successful revenue mobilisation in Sri Lanka. (Reporting by Shivam Patel; Editing by Krishna N. Das)
