And, terrific results in a joint campaign with Safar Travel & Tourism

Abu Dhabi, 15 April 2015:- Western Motors LLC, Jeep and Fiat authorized distributor in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and an automotive member of Al Fahim Group, once again announces a successful quarter in 2015 with a fruitful increase of 28% owing to a series of sponsorships for public activities, hosting a highly anticipated event with FCA, and tying-up with sister company Safar Travel & Tourism for a joint promotion.

"After a prosperous year in 2014 where we recorded a 14% increase compared to 2013 for Jeep, we decided to start 2015 in full blast to show our loyal customers just how much we care for them and always look for ways to keep them engaged," commented Mr. Mohammed Al Momani, General Manager of Western Motors. "Adding to Western Motors' winning streak, this quarter, compared to the same period last year, we further exceeded expectations with a 28% rise in sales performance among our Jeeps and an exponential 200% for the hip Fiat brand!"

As recorded by Western Motors, the most popular vehicles this year were the Jeep Wranglers and the Grand Cherokee making up a sizeable chunk of total Jeep sales. Furthermore, the recently launched Fiat 500 Long (L) - the 4-door version of the greatly admired funky Fiat 500 - is becoming largely popular among fans of the Fiat brand in the capital city.    

Talking about the joint promotion with Al Fahim Group's travel arm, Safar Travel & Tourism, Mr. Al Momani praised, "I'm also delighted to add that the joint marketing campaign with our sister company, Safar Travel, launched in January was a hit! The promotion included raffle prizes of holiday package vouchers worth AED 5,000 each enabling new vehicle owners from Western Motors to also enjoy a gift of leisure and leaving the choice of destination completely to the winner."

During the raffle, Mr. Mohammed Abdulla Al Fahim, General Manager of Products & Services Division of Al Fahim Group which includes Safar, added, "We always encourage joining hands with other business members under Al Fahim Group as it provides both our customers with added value and benefits. Many of our customers are enthusiasts of adventures, travelling and sports-related activities - all of which fit the characters of Jeep and Fiat owners."

Other activities which Western Motors has been a part of this year, starting with the most recent, were: Jeep SRT Drag Race at Yas Marina in April, the annual Al Hilal Auto Festival in March on Abu Dhabi Corniche, and sponsorship of the much-awaited and thrilling Redbull Air Race in February.
