The Teejan Group, which is celebrating its 36th Anniversary this year, revealed the 'Galileo' Mobile Science Cart for Laboratory teaching at the Oman Laboratory Exhibition today at an inauguration ceremony attended by the Minister of Education.

Teejan is delighted to be collaborating with the Ministry of Education in bringing the latest advance in modular laboratory equipment to the Sultanate of Oman.  The Galileo Mobile Science Cart is designed to enhance the teaching experience of biology, chemistry and physics through interactive, hand-on, experiential learning and enable students to benefit from the latest technology.

The cart was developed in the United Kingdom by and has been brought to Oman by the Teejan Group to benefit students and teachers in the Sultanate. 

Fawzi bin Hamad Al Harrassy, Executive Director of the Teejan Group of Companies, said, "We are very excited to be bringing the Galileo to Oman.  Teejan has been involved in construction many of the Sultanate's schools and colleges and setting up laboratories now we are making a contribution inside the classroom as well!  In the year of the 40th Renaissance this is something that we are particularly proud."

The Galileo Mobile Science Investigation Cart is a compact, mobile unit enabling students and teachers to access a vast range of scientific information using the fully integrated multimedia presentation capability.   The unit was designed to make an optimum use of space for presentations, demonstrations and storage.  It has an integrated multimedia capability allowing students and teachers to access a vast range of scientific material using PowerPoint presentations, software and internet access.
