Cyberflex Access for Secure Network Access
One of the highlights of the SchlumbergerSema exhibit will be the Cyberflex Access smart card with public key infrastructure (PKI) for digital signature and authentication on the Java platform. Coupled with SchlumbergerSema readers, software and professional services, Cyberflex Access also enables companies to realize a significant reduction in costs by bundling together secure Internet/extranet access and physical access on a single ID smart card.

Magic Pos Terminals
Focusing on business need for secure electronic transactions, SchlumbergerSema will demonstrate its MagIC 6000 and 9000 POS terminals in use with the companys smart card applications. The MagIC line of smart card-ready POS terminals for secure credit and debit card transactions provides a high level of flexibility for diverse business applications. Transactions can take place anywhere including indoor or outdoor fixed locations (such as retail stores and restaurants), portable sites (such as sporting events or concerts) and mobile environments (such as delivery services and pay-at-table restaurant applications). SchlumbergerSema MagIC terminals will also be featured in the demonstration of an iCitizen smart card-based drivers license application.

Schlumbergersema e-Gate Technology
With its unique capability to plug directly into the USB port of any computer, the SchlumbergerSema e-gate technology removes the need for a traditional smart card reader, simplifies installation, decreases the capital cost of the smart card infrastructure, and enables faster communications in the USB mode a business critical industry breakthrough that increases performance/cost ratio compared to standard ISO compatible smart cards. To meet the growing demand for corporate and Internet security solutions, SchlumbergerSema e-gate technology is now available in the company's Java-based Cyberflex and native OS Cryptoflex smart cards.

Dexa.Badge Enterprise-Wide Security Solution
Schlumberger Network Solutions will feature DeXa.Badge, the personalized, credit-card-sized corporate ID solution that protects both facilities and data for corporations. DeXa.Badge offers strong two-factor authentication and PKI technology, and when stronger authentication is required, biometric solutions can be integrated. A key aspect of DeXa.Badge is an integrated card-issuance and card-management system with centralized repository management, combined with a user self-service module. With a single DeXa.Badge, employees can access networks through the desktop, thin-client or hand-held device and enter designated buildings with an integrated solution that makes strong two-factor authentication viable to the enterprise.
