Dubai, April 9, 2008: Microsoft Xbox 360 is partnering with Dubai Autodrome for one of the biggest car racing events in the region, The Dubai Grand Racing event held from April 11 to April 12, 2008. Microsoft Xbox 360 has also sponsored the modified car competition, where car enthusiasts will go all out in modifying their car's body styling and overall performance to win the "Dubai Autodrome & Xbox 360 Award for the 2008 Xbox Elite Car of the Year". A committee of judges from Dubai Autodrome and Microsoft Xbox 360 will judge the top 3 best looking and modified cars and will receive prizes courtesy of Microsoft Xbox 360.
Xbox 360 will also offer racing fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a surreal car racing pod and play Forza Motorsport 2 in the gaming areas located around the Autodrome. Whether you are in the VIP Hospitality lounge, the paddock or at the food court, Microsoft Xbox 360 has setup gaming areas for all to have their minutes of glory racing exotic cars. Unveiled at GITEX last year, the striking three-screen virtual driving pod, running Forza II racing car game on the Xbox 360 console will be available for all visitors to enjoy. During long breaks between races, visitors too will have the ultimate chance in racing cars with the fantastic virtual effects portrayed by the Xbox 360.
A fun filled weekend of adrenaline is waiting for all racing fans.
