In pursuit of unlocking the potential of employees and promoting Chakib Richani Organization as the best place to work for, Okeili & Co. designed and implemented a tailor-made organization design that is aligned with the vision and legacy of Chakib Richani. As strategy evolves, the various elements of organization design (structure, culture, process, policies and people) should follow to support such evolution. The main question to be asked is "Does my organization design enable the achievement of strategic goals and objectives?" Accordingly, the OD intervention at Chakib Richani organization engaged the building of a future state operating model that entails the following synergetic components:

Okeili & Co efforts were divided over three phases. Starting at the vision, mission and values, the first phase of the OD intervention engaged deep function analysis and created a representation of high level function roles, the underlying supporting processes and the reporting relationships within the new organizational structure.
The second phase engaged mapping all business processes and developing effective operation manuals that are essential for employees to understand and follow an optimized approach in their day-to-day job activities. To that, the use of process mapping further crosshaired the necessary performance measures and added important detail to job profiles and responsibilities, in addition to highlighting and identifying core competencies.
The third phase leveraged the realized core competencies to develop a competency based Human Resources System following best practice. Adopting a competency based systems approach to human resource activities, results in talent management that is far more effective and strategic to the organizational success. A competency based HR system consolidates job design, job compensation, selection and recruitment, and training and development around the set core competencies, which gives HRM its strategic importance due to the direct link between those competencies and organizational success. Employee Performance Management on the other hand, stretched further beyond the competency framework to accommodate key performance measures and achievement of set objectives in performing appraisals and making related promotion and career advancement decisions - better known as the Management by Objective approach (MBO). Both, the competency system and the MBO approach go hand in hand in promoting effective career and succession planning.
